Zero Discharge Systems |
Zero
discharge systems are demanded by industrial customers to avoid
liability issues, permitting problems, discharge restrictions,
unpredictable fines and surcharges. Typical applications include parts
cleaning, rinse tanks, metal deburring and polishing, equipment
wash-down, pressure washer usage, and special washing applications.

Zero discharge systems conserve water by
recycling waste water. |

Water
costs, discharge surcharges and energy costs must be analyzed. Wastech
Engineering is experienced in designing and fabricating a wide range of
skid-mounted, zero-discharge and complete
filtration treatment systems.
These may be manual, semi-automatic or full-automatic systems, and may
use ion exchange, traditional chemical precipitation, filtration, RO,
clarifiers, DAF, ultra-filtration, vacuum distillation and evaporators.
Instead of hauling off huge volumes of hazardous wastewater, processed
water is returned to the plant and a small volume of concentrated waste
is evaporated or hauled from the plant.
